The Moon Queen

“I’m starting to like criminals,” the Moon Queen said sitting on her throne.

“Why?” Her servant asked.

“Because when I bring justice to our land, they will bring the termites to me when I’m ready to cleanse the night sky with their blood.”

She had now gotten her servant’s attention.

“What?”

“I have received word that my creatures of the night are migrating into the day. This has displeased our lord of the day. He has decreased my glow; therefore, I have been summoned to balance things out,” the Moon Queen replied.

Her servant Squire entered the room, “Here she is your highness. A lady of the night.”

“What is your report?”

“I have been sold over and over again as a sex slave. I’ve been raped, drugged, and beaten lifeless by strong mighty men, only to be left for dead, brought back to life only to be drugged again. My children have all been sacrificed to the God Moloch. Every deity I’ve cried to has shown me no mercy your highness. I beg you, please help me. I have prayed for a hero,” Lilly, the lady of the night said.

This angered the Moon Queen, standing tall from her throne, her black garments began to glow with rage.

“Servants of the night, gather our weapons of war, it is time for us to cleanse the night sky. Prepare for mass executions,” the Moon Queen said.

The moon soon turned bloody red as the creatures of the night began to howl.

“Who is brave enough that they will crucify my ladies of the night, but will not bow to the Christ in repentance? The man has spread the earth with carnage so too shall I. I will raise the dead and they too will be my army!” The Moon Queen shouted gravitating from the moon down to the earth. A foggy mist soon covered the dark earth as the planets blocked the Sun’s light. Screaming could be heard as the dead began to feed off of the living.

“These are the creatures that failed to honor the oath of God, show them no mercy,” the Moon Queen commanded.

Flashes of light were seen in the night sky as war gods were unleashed. Exchangers of drugs and feeble corrupt judges were seen from afar begging for mercy.

“Off with their heads, then feed the remainder of their lifeless flesh to the wolves.” The Moon Queen declared.

As the creatures of the day sat idle hiding in their homes they began to scream for help.

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God have mercy.

They prayed for the sun, but the Moon Queen’s wrath spilled on the earth for forty days and forty nights because they too were punished for not being brave enough to keep the night creatures away from the day. Once her wrath was over and Lilly, the lady of the night, gave birth to twin virgins, the Moon Queen took this as a gift from the Goddess of the day.

“Halt! The bond has been restored. The earth’s night is quiet and cleansed. We can return home now,” the Moon Queen said ordering all of her troops home. At this moment the twin virgins were given names. One was called Day and one was called Night.

“People of earth, if any man on this planet destroys these two gifts from the heavens, then I will return with eternal darkness,” the Moon Queen said.

The people of the day soon got word that their prayers had been answered. They came out to witness the beauty of the sun, for which they had not seen in a while. Night and Day took their place amongst the people, never to be neglected like their mother. With permission from the Christ they gave mankind a rainbow in the sky.

The Moon Queen was pleased.
