The perfect dream

It started with a vision, just like any new idea. The vision never seemed like a good idea to begin with. Everyone hated the idea but one man just kept on going. He had to be crazy to take on something so unrealistic. Everyone was so comfortable; they were so comfortable that they were asleep. It started off in the ghettos then trickled its way up to the suburbs, once it got started there was no turning back. To this day no one really knew why one person chose such a task. A gun went off then he awoke from his dream. If only people could see the vision like he did. That's how it starts, people laugh at first because of the idea. Some even call you crazy. A few people tag along and in the end you end up inspiring others to believe in things that they thought were impossible. Some people are lost along the way and you may even die alone. The perfect dream starts with an idea. An idea that everyone doubts and no one believes will come true. You start climbing and you learn and meet new people along the way. Then once your journey is over you awake in the place where all dreams begin. You awake not knowing who you inspired, not knowing who you let down, but most of all you awake not knowing that you did the impossible. You created the perfect dream and the perfect mountain for someone else to climb. Long live the dreamer.

Why art is important:

Did you know that when a country is overtaken by war that some leaders assign a special unit to steal all of the artifacts? Indigenous cultures all around the globe have had to deal with invaders. When this happens, customs and cultures often merge into the appearance of the inhabitants. To find truth in historical facts, a historian must examine art. The expressions of indigenous cultures create a timeline for all mankind to connect the dots and understand their natural origins. Art plays an important role when extracting the facts about history.

A simple description on how to make music:

Although there are many tricks used in making music, the only real rule is to stay organized. There's a lot of ways to learn how to make music but as long as you understand that music is simply just organized noise, you can expand your creativity. Once you learn all of the terms and standards that professionals use, the main concept is staying in tune and being creative. Anyone can make music but those who master the art find ways to take old habits and renew them with different sounds and techniques.

The Dream Band

I wonder why they keep all of the money in a safe. It almost seems like everything is worth something. Why does water float in space in the shape of a planet? I see kids in Africa playing music on animal skin. Why do their dancers seem happier than mine? I see singers singing in front of a class with a chalkboard then the students clap. If I fly to an island to play, am I worth more there than what I'm worth in my hometown? Will anyone like my organized band? Will they dance to my computer songs? Will there be a plug to play my CD? I wonder what they'll think of my dream band. Even if they don't feel the music, I'll sing a song from my heart. When I'm done I'll throw up a peace sign and scream an old school, "Word is born!"

What is a scrim?

A scrim is a see through curtain that allows light, people or objects that are behind the curtain to pass through. It adds a magical feeling on stage when a light is bouncing off of a person in which the shadow appears to be dancing or moving. A scrim is also useful when adding a fashion technique to a performance by using motion lights bouncing while a character is dancing behind the scrim. You may also see scrims on stage just to add a certain type of mood to the performance. If you've ever seen a curtain with a blue or selected color bouncing off of it than most likely it was a scrim.

What is Mandala Art?

Art is different in each culture. Mandala Art, is an art form that originates from the Hindu and Buddhist culture. If you've ever seen art patterns in circular form that are perfect in dimensions with hypnotizing patterns, then you have probably seen Mandala Art. This art form is soothing to look at because of its complex patterns. Although simple to draw when using a gear shaped tool, Mandala Art can be hard to color because of very small sections within each piece. Just like any art from, the artist must respect the culture to understand how to master such an art form.

One problem with analog recording:

One problem with analog recording is the inherent noise passing to the recording signal. An analog signal is a continuous measure of voltage etc. which can be controlled by increasing or decreasing the amount flowing through the signal. A good example of an analog signal would be adjusting the knob for volume.

Dream Worries

Don't worry when things go wrong. Take a second and look around you. Everyday you awake is a new opportunity for things to get better. If you're troubled, walk to increase your thoughts. If you lack knowledge, read to learn more. If you lack wisdom, watch the ant carry his or her load. If someone tells you everything is bad, find something good. Once you do this, you'll realize that even when you dream, you awake in a whole new world filled with second chances.

Dream Street

In an alley there are two men rolling black and white dice. Three kids are fighting over a water fountain in the back of an abandon house. Up the road a black cat marches across the street and almost gets hit by a car. Seven little girls are jump roping while a fire hydrant spits out water. In front of the neighborhood church there is a preacher preaching about dreams in the mist of the summer heat. The neighborhood bridge reads: "Welcome to Dream Street."

Dream Mountain

Climb until you reach your dream.
Eat until you're full.
Jump once you reach the top.
Then fly while you're falling.

The Terrible Dreamer

I woke up today and I realized that everything I do is terrible. No body likes me because everything I do is all wrong. I can't do anything right. I try to be great then I realize that I'm not. I try to read but I mispronounce the words. I must be the only person on earth. I'm a loser. I was at a restaurant the other day and I heard these girls laughing, I wonder if they were talking about me. I never won anything in my life. I don't know much and all I have are terrible dreams. When I'm clean, I'm dirty. When I speak, people throw tomatoes at me. I really suck. I fell down the stairs and almost got hit by a car the other day. I tell jokes and no one laughs. When I listen to myself, I turn it off because I hate the way I sound. I can't do anything right. I lost my job even with a doctor's excuse. I had a birthday the other day and I was the only one who showed up to the party. I'm going to look in the mirror one last time and see if I can accept what I've become. I just got dumped and all I have in my account is a few dollars. I filed for bankruptcy last week and the lawyer wouldn't accept my payments. Once it's all over and I've lived my life being terrible at everything, I'm going to run for president. I'm crazy and I'm the only one standing on top of this huge mountain I just climbed. I'm the terrible dreamer and no body can stop me.

The Dream Job

I want to thank you for coming in today. We cooked your lunch for you. Here, take your pay early, I know you have some bills due and you've been working pretty hard. There's some massage therapist in the back once you get done. God bless you on your way home, I know you can't wait to come back. See you in the morning.

The Book of Dreams

Picture a tree sliced into thin layers. Then put little droplets of ink on the thin layers. When you begin to read each page, you open up your thoughts to a new universe within your mind. Once you start reading there's no turning back. If you stop, you'll miss out on discovering a new world, but most of all, you'll miss out on a whole new world of knowledge. The book of dreams is infinite. Will you reach your dreams? Will you step into eternity?

The Black Dream

If you look through a piece of glass and the other side is black, it may appear as though nothing is there. If you look again you may see yourself, is it an illusion or is it a gateway to a dream world that you alone have the power to enter?

For the Misfit:

Some of the greatest artist of all time never fit in but their dreams still came true.
