“This rope will be easy, wrap it around your neck and let go until the blood is drained from your brain, then snap, everything goes dark. It’s that easy,” the negative force explains.
If you’re reading this piece and you’ve made it to this point, then let me explain its purpose. As a child my English teacher told me something about writing. I was told about the meaning of optimism. It’s a positive way of looking at the world. Optimism is priceless. It’s the power of the mind. You can perceive your environment anyway you please. You can see humor in your fabric of time or you can perceive everything around you as a curse. Pessimistically falling to sleep at the wheel in the midst of running away from troubles. I also used to love books that gave me a choice in the end so let’s go to the 8th page of this story which is the gift of choice. We can endure or take the easy way out. I say when you reach the climax in your life and you’re shaking from a body that’s beat down and broken, endure. The top is the peak of the mountain and to fall teaches you one lesson and that is your will to never give up. To die a thousand times only to look down and see that same child that you used to be trying to write a masterpiece to save the world. As the CEO dangled from the ceiling as the demented forces pulled him under, he’s saved by the only person who checked on him. A complete stranger who he forgot he gave a key. While feeling a table hit his feet, his head pops away from the noose. Ironically, he lays in the arms of a poor stranger who gave him the most amazing gift of all. She gave him friendship, she checked on him and took nothing in return. I’m an optimist, so thanks to my English teacher there’s hope. I chose a happy ending, I perceived life as a gift not a curse for once.
