It all led up to this moment.
The argument with my sister.
My mother moving down south and me being left alone.
My family all scattered.
It was as though my entire life was designed around this last choice so let me get to the climax.
I was messing around with a radio when I interrupted a signal in another language.
Confused, I turned on my translator app and discovered that the enemy was on their way.
Good thing I was prepared so I headed to my bunker.
It’s amazing what you take for granted once you have nothing left under ground but some can goods and a radio. You miss everything.
I thought about the past a lot, and once the booming all stopped it became quiet.
I decided to stay put for three days just to make sure that the coast was clear.
Walking out of my bunker all I could see was soot and ash.
The entire world was now tinted black.
There was literally nothing left.
Death was everywhere and I was the only one who survived.
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
I then noticed a flashing light in the sky.
It looked like a spaceship.
The darn thing landed right in front of me.
Beings with elongated heads stepped out, they looked like Egyptian Pharaohs.
One took my hand.
At first touch, I could feel her thoughts.
They welcomed me into the spaceship and took me with them to the longest surviving structure on earth, the pyramids.
A brand new dynasty was born.
They gave me a new genetic code to live forever with them in paradise.
And they did it all because they loved me.
I had good vibes.
The 8th Dynasty
