Nobility

I was supposed to be in honors English before I got transferred. Standing in front of noble scholars I read the same sentence 300 times only to find myself buried in a pile of study material. Striving for perfection I noticed a period in the wrong place after submitting my paper. Anticipating my final grade, I stood in front of a wishing well hoping to advance to a higher level of achievement. Sitting in front of the computer, clicking refresh over and over again hoping for an A plus, I got a B minus instead. I soon learned that average was not a quality of nobility, I had to be better so I kept drowning in knowledge only to find myself falling asleep reading noble books. Striving for academic excellence I became a doctor enlightened and cascading through images of the sun’s rays. After graduating I’d been left with a forgotten image of achievement, I still had not reached my goals and the image of myself being a world class doctor soon faded in a pile of college bills with little to no income to pay them. Defeated inside, I began to question nobility in a wild and spontaneous world. Never losing sight of my character, I noticed my gray hairs. I soon realized that, I, like my colleagues, were fighting for nobility.
