Defining the Catwalk:

Ever wonder why when you look up in big theaters it always looks like there is something going on in the ceiling. Well I guess it is safe to say that there is something going on in the ceiling, there is a catwalk right above the front of the stage. A catwalk is comprised of a hanging walkway to adjust the stage lights etcetera. Catwalks are mainly in the big theatres and are rare in smaller ones.  The term catwalk, is also used for the fashion walkway that the models use to exhibit fashion clothing.
